While three decades may separate this pair, it certainly does not impact on their love for each other or their dress sense.

Jeff Goldblum and wife Emilie Livingston were spotted out and about in New York early Saturday evening.

The 63-year-old actor and his 33-year-old spouse were getting some one-on-one time together without their little boy Charlie Ocean.

The couple obviously decided to have an early date night, which is rare as the doting parents have the 23-month-old with them at all times.

For their adult adventure, the Jurassic Park actor and his former ballerina wife went for complementary ensembles.

Proving while he may be 63 he does not dress 63, Jeff showed off his style in a pair of skinny white jeans with a dark grey almost black polo and a slim-fit coat.

His bride also plucked her look from a similar colour palette, stepping out in a white mini dress which she wore with a leather moto jacket making the feminine frock a little more edgy.

The Canadian-born beauty wore her long dark locks out and flowing in natural waves.

Getting time together is not just rare because of the baby, their date comes at a very busy time for Jeff.

The actor has been on the promotional trail, ahead of the release of Independence Day: Resurgence.

The film - which is out June 24 - sees the actor reprise his role of David Levinson from the first film which was released 20 years ago. 

The film also takes place 20 years on from when the last film was set and sees the earth attacked by aliens once again.
